170g plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
120g soft margarine
85g brown sugar
55g castor sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
1 egg
120g dark chocolate chips
Method:
Lightly grease 2 baking trays.
Place all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Beat until well mix.
Place tablespoons of the mixture on to the baking trays, spacing them 5cm apart to allow for spreading during baking.
Bake in a preheated oven at 190 degrees Celsius for about 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown.
Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool.
