Shrimps With Cauliflower Recipe

Ingredients: Serves 4

1 lb shrimps, cleaned and shelled

Salt and pepper to taste

1.5 tbsp lemon juice

1.2 tbsp cooking oil

1 onion, chopped

4 red chilies, pounded with a bit of salt

Brown sugar to taste

1 medium size cauliflower, chopped

1 cup water

2 tsp cornstarch mix with 2 tbsp water

3 scallions, chopped

1 tbsp celery, chopped

 

Method:

Marinate the shrimps with a bit of salt, pepper and lemon juice for 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Heat the oil in a pan. Fry the onion until soft. Add in the pounded chilies and sugar. Stir well. Add the cauliflower, stir-fry for 2 minutes. Add in water and bring to a boil. Simmer for 5 minutes. Add the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce has thickened slightly. Add salt to taste. Stir in scallions and celery and simmer for a minute. Add the shrimps, stir well until the shrimps is cooked. Serve.
