If you are preparing pumpkins for a meal, position the pumpkin so it is sitting upright, then cut it into two equal halves. Place each half on a baking sheet. Dash a little water onto the sheets, and then bake the vegetable for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

A stir-fry is a great way to cook up bits and pieces of leftover vegetables and meat. It’s best to use day-old rice that has cooled, but you can make fresh rice if you choose; just remember to cut a bit of water from the rice recipe in order to make the drier rice that works best in meals like this. Fry your vegetables and meat in some oil. Once you’ve done this, add rice and any seasoning you want with garlic, ginger, soy sauce and other spices.
