Coconut Cashew Cookies Recipe

Ingredients:

2 egg yolks slightly beaten

100 g sugee `

50 g corn flour

50 g cashew nuts (pounded finely)

150 g butter

100 g flour

100 g castor sugar

desiccated coconut and cherries for decoration

Method:

Sift sugar, corn flour, flour  and sugee. Rub in butter and add in egg yolks and pounded cashew nuts. Refrigerate for 15 minutes in a covered basin. Roll out to 3 mm thickness and cut into fancy shapes. Decorate with desiccated coconut and cherries. Bake in preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius until golden.
