Honey Macadamia Biscuits Recipe


130 g butter

60 g soft brown sugar

180 g plain flour

3/4 cup desiccated coconut

2 tbsp honey

1/4 cup finely chopped macadamia

1/2 tsp soda powder

2 tbsp coarse brown sugar


Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Sift plain flour and soda powder. Beat butter and sugar until creamy. Add honey and beat until well mixed. Add in flour, desiccated coconut and macadamia and mix to form a dough. Knead dough into 2.5 cm balls and press it flat. Sprinkle coarse brown sugar on top of it. Place the biscuits on prepared baking tray (greased, floured or lined with baking paper). Bake for 20 minutes at 180 degrees Celsius. Cool on wire rack and serve.
