Cheese Cake Recipe

Ingredients:

220g self raising flour

60g corn flour

300g butter

120g icing sugar

6 eggs

150g sugar

130g cheese (grated)

Topping:

150ml water

40g sugar

10g jelly powder

10g corn flour

120g cheese (grated)

Baking Tin:

Three 15cm fluted savarin tins (greased)

Method:

  1. Sift self raising flour and corn flour together.

  2. Beat butter and icing sugar in mixer till fluffy. Remove.

  3. Separate egg yolks and egg whites for later use. Beat egg whites and sugar till stiff peaks form. Add egg yolks and continue beating. Remove.

  4. Pour in butter mixture (from step 2) and mix well by hand. Add self raising flour and corn flour, then slowly stir well. Add grated cheese to mix well. Pour cake mixture into baking tin. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 25 minutes. Remove and cool.

  5. Topping: Combine water, sugar, jelly powder and corn flour then bring to boil. Pour on top of cake. Evenly sprinkle with grated cheese. Serve.
