Indian Steamed Rice Cakes Recipe


400g uncooked rice

300g black lentils

3 tbsp cooked rice

salt to taste


Soak the rice and lentils in water separately for 5 hours. Grind the cook and uncooked rice finely. Grind the lentils separately. Then mix them together and add salt to taste. Put the thick paste into small moulds and steam for about 20 minutes until cooked. Serve the rice cakes together with curries.
