Lotus Seed and Egg Tea Recipe


80g lotus seeds without membranes

5 eggs

2 tea bags

sugar to taste



Soak the lotus seeds in hot water thoroughly and then remove the central stalks. Add suitable amount of water and cook for 1 hour. Cover it for 20 minutes. Drain. Boil eggs. Soak in water until cool and then remove shells. Boil 4 cups of water. Put in tea bags. Soak for a while and then remove. Put in lotus seeds, eggs and sugar. Cook for 15 minutes.
