Baked Ham With Honey Recipe

Ingredients:

850g uncooked ham

4 tbsp honey

60g sugar

3 tbsp oil

1 large sheet of greaseproof paper

2 lotus leaves

Method:

Steam the ham for 40 minutes. After removing the skin, fat and bone, slice it thinly. Mix the honey, sugar and oil together. Place the slices of ham on the greaseproof paper and pour the honey mixture over on it. Wrap the ham with the greaseproof paper and then wrap it with the lotus leaves. Bake the wrapped ham in a moderate for about 2 hours. Allow it to cool (about 20 minutes) before removing the wrappers. Serve.
