Fried Rice Balinese Style Recipe

Ingredients: Serves 4

1/2 lb cooked and cooled rice

1/2 lb shrimps, peeled

1/2 lb ham, cut into thin strips

3 tbsp margarine/butter

2 onions, chopped

1 garlic, chopped

4 chilies, grounded with a bit of salt

4 scallions, chopped

1 tbsp soy sauce

4 eggs, scrambled

2 tsp coriander, chopped

 

Method:

Heat the margarine in a pan and stir-fry the onions until soft. Add the ham and garlic. Stir well. Add in chilies paste and the scallions. Stir for 2 minutes. Put in the rice a little at a time. Continue to stir for 5 minutes. Add the shrimps and soy sauce. Stir until the shrimps is cooked. Serve with scrambled eggs and garnish with coriander.
