Fish With Bamboo Shoots Recipe


600g fish fillet

5 shallots (sliced)

1 clove garlic (sliced)

5 cm ginger (sliced)

4 tbsp cooking oil

2 cups rice wine

2 cups water

200g bamboo shoots (sliced)

salt to taste

soy sauce to taste


Slice the fish. Heat up oil in pan and fry the shallots, garlic and ginger until brown, Pour in the water and rice wine. Put in the bamboo shoots and cook until tender. Then add in the fish and cook. When the gravy thickens, add soy sauce and salt to taste. Garnish as desired, serve.
