Indonesian Spicy Shrimps Recipe


620 gm king prawns

Salt, sugar to taste

2 tbsp cooking oil

8 shallots

3 gloves garlic

2 lemon grass

2 cinnamon stick

1 star anise

1 packet whole seed spices

60 gm curry powder

1 cup water



Pounded together onion, garlic and lemon grass. Heat oil in pan, stir-fry the pounded paste, cinnamon stick, star anise, spices and curry powder until fragrant. Add in prawns and stir-fry for 2 seconds. Then add in water, sugar and salt to taste. Stir-fry until cooked and gravy is thickened.
