Spicy Chicken And Vegetable Curry Recipe


1.5 cups chicken bouillon

1,5 cups thin coconut milk

1.5 tsp chili paste

1 tsp galangal

1 tsp turmeric (ground)

1 tsp ginger root (ground)

1 tsp coriander (ground)

a pinch of cumin (ground)

2 tsp soft brown sugar

3/4 lb shredded white or green cabbage

1/2 carrots (cut into thin strips)

2 large potatoes (peeled and cut into thin strips)

1/2 lb cooked chicken (diced)

3 tbsp lemon juice

2 tsp Indonesian sweet soy sauce (thick soy sauce)


Mix the coconut milk with the bouillon in a saucepan and bring to the boil. Add the chili paste, galangal, turmeric, ginger, coriander and cumin. Stir in the sugar and put in all the vegetables. Stir well and cook for 7 to 8 minutes. Add in the cooked chicken and bring to the boil again. Remove saucepan from heat. Add the lemon juice and soy sauce. Serve.
