Spicy Spinach And Potatoes Recipe


800g potatoes (peeled and quartered)

300g spinach (chopped)

2 tsp turmeric powder

3 cm piece ginger (finely shredded)

1 tsp chili powder

1.5 tbsp ghee

salt to taste


Heat ghee in pan. Fry the ginger for a few minutes. Add turmeric powder, chili powder and salt. Stir for a minute. Put in potatoes and fry for a few minutes. Reduce the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes till the potatoes are almost done. Put in the spinach and cook for another 15 minutes. Serve hot.
