Tandoori Fish Recipe

Ingredients:

500 g fish, remove bones

3 tbsp yoghurt

4 bay leaves

Squeeze juice of 1 lemon

1 tsp butter

salt to taste

Grind to a paste:

1/4 inch piece cinnamon

1/2 inch piece unripe papaya

2 cardamoms and cloves

2 pips garlic

a small piece of ginger

1 small onion

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 tsp coriander powder

2 red chilies, soaked

 

Method:

Cut fish into seven pieces and season with salt, yoghurt, bay leaves and ground paste. Grease a baking dish. Then place the seasoned fish and marinate for 2 hours. Bake in moderate oven for 20 minute or till tender. Serve hot with lime juice.
